Dream’s speedrun cheating saga has certainly stirred up a lot of controversy over the past several months. Now that he admitted to cheating (though unintentionally), it looks like things might finally settle down. But looking back on the whole event, who’s more to blame? Is it Dream himself or was it the Minecraft speedrun mods? Despite scientific papers, an astrophysicist’s involvement and intense back-and-forth allegations, to this day the whole thing remains full of intrigue.
